Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino:

The tall, modern skyscraper in the postcards is the Trump Plaza, which was once a centerpiece of the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

It opened in 1984 as the city's 10th casino and was known for hosting high-profile boxing matches and celebrity guests.

Closure & Demolition: Due to financial decline and competition, it closed in 2014. The building was famously imploded on February 17, 2021, after falling into severe disrepair.

Current Site: The location is now largely an empty lot used for parking while future development is considered.
