For sale here is a Luxman SQ 707 amplifier in superb condition.

This really does look great. The wooden case is superb and the facia it unmarked. It’s a terrific example.

It does work but does have one issue. 99% of the time when you turn it on it only works on one channel only. You can then give the faceplate a firm tap and the other channel springs into life. I’m sure there must be a bad solder joint or some other simple thing that can be easily sorted. Once you give it a tap it works on both channels perfectly and sounds really very good indeed! Because of this I’d say it could do with a service. Apart from this everything works as it should and it sounds very good.
