I don't really know much about this quilt other than it was once my grandmother's, when she passed away it went to my father and now that both my parents are gone it was left to me.
I don't know much about the history of this quilt other than it was made in North Georgia and that my grandmother had it stretched across the top of one of her beds for decoration most of the time.
It is hand sewn and appears to be made with scraps of cotton and some polyester the back it some sort of soft plaid material but I'm really not sure about its composition.
It is in pretty good shape, with no obvious tears or stains...It has been in a footlocker for the past 35 + years so it does have a bit of a musty smell to it.
The size I have listed is approximate and may be off by an inch or so.

The several light areas you see on the back is the sun shining through it.

I have 2 other quilts listed so please check them out too.
