For sale, an EXTREMELY RARE original metal minefield warning sign, used by the Egyptian military forces in Sinai and have been taken by an Israeli soldier during the Sinai campaign of the Six-Day War in 1967. The sign is triangular in form, made of sheet metal, and retains its original red painted surface with large Arabic lettering to the front. A metal mounting tab remains attached at the top. Provenance: reported by the previous owner to have been brought back by an Israeli soldier during the 1967 Sinai fighting.Sold as found, with untouched patina and wear.
