1878 edition in charming original pictorial boards, with gilt lettering to spine and gilt decoration to boards, in very good condition overall. The boards are in very good condition, and they display very well with a fantastic illustration of a wooly mammoth on the cover. The spine lettering is bright. The binding is firm, and there are no loose pages or leaves. The endpapers have a bookplate. The pages are good with minimal wear but there is foxing throughout.
