    How to replace the cooling fan:

     

    • Safety First: Disconnect the negative battery cable. Ensure the engine is completely cool to avoid burns and coolant spray.
    • Access the Fan: Remove any plastic engine covers. You may need to remove the upper radiator hose to gain enough clearance, which will require draining some coolant first.
    • Disconnect Electronics: Unplug the electrical connector(s) for the fan motor.
    • Remove Shroud/Assembly: Unscrew the bolts (usually 10mm or 13mm) holding the fan shroud to the radiator. Gently lift the entire fan shroud and motor assembly out of the engine bay.
    • Swap Motor/Blades (If Necessary): If you purchased just the motor or blades, unbolt the old fan from the motor and the motor from the shroud, then install the new parts.
    • Install New Fan: Slide the new assembly into place, ensuring it is properly seated, and tighten the bolts.
    • Reconnect and Test: Plug the wiring harness back in, reconnect the radiator hose (if removed), and refill any lost coolant. Reconnect the battery, start the car, and turn on the A/C to verify the fan turns on
