The easy-fill Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Rectangle Wide-Mouth HDPE Bottles are an excellent option to store your food, liquids or other items on the trail, in the camper or at home. Originally designed for use in scientific labs, the HDPE containers by Nalgene™ are just as popular in the outdoors with campers, hikers and hunters. Available in sizes from 125ml up to 1L, these containers are an excellent way to organise your outdoor consumables.

You can easily fill these rectangular, wider-mouth High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) bottles that offer excellent chemical resistance, making them suitable for a wide variety of uses.

HDPE exhibits excellent chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcohols, making these bottles suitable for a wide variety of uses. Good for freezer storage to -100°C (-148°F).

*The term leakproof applies to Thermo Scientific Nalgene™ products that meet the following criteria: 

a) Bottle/flask/funnel closure systems with closures smaller than 100mm, after they are filled with water, inverted, withstand air pressure of 2psig for 2 minutes, and no water escapes;. 

b) Bottle/funnel/flask closure systems of larger than 100mm after they are filled with water, inverted for 15 minutes, and no water escapes. Note: these tests, using other liquids, may not yield the same results. 

To ensure safe usage, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene™ bottles and closures under conditions of their planned applications. Thermo Scientific Nalgene™ products are leakproof at ambient temperature and pressure when used with their Nalgene™ closures.
