The M model was the largest Victor produced as of 1901, hence the name Monarch. This particular machine is a beautiful example produced near 1903/4 and shows well with a beautiful oak cabinet. A double main spring brass motor powers the 10-inch turntable fitted with fresh light green felt and held down with a new nickel-plated threaded record hold-down feature available on earlier models. Wonderful sound is produced by a rebuilt Exhibition reproducer through a 11.5-inch diameter brass horn, mounted toward the front with an oak travel arm. All gears and bearings within the motor compartment have been cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. All our phonographs run well and play beautifully as the day they left the production line! Thank you for viewing.
