Each acorn is rolled, in an all-natural substance, which allows the natural beauty of the wood to show.
Rolling removes most, not all, of the white film, which often occurs when acorns are dried.
Each acorn is carefully collected by hand, water washed, sorted and naturally dried.
The acorns with cracks, squirrel marks, holes or imperfections are discarded.
The acorns have been dried, in a heated environment and stored for a required amount of time
(since last fall) to insure they are thoroughly dried and insect free.
Great for crafts, bowl fillers or any other crafty idea.
I counted 3 different pounds and the average amount per pound is approx. 125 acorns.
The approx. area when lying flat in a group is 9 inches by 9 inches.
Shipped using a clear resealable cello bag for easy storage, within a box.
These acorns are not meant for animal feed or to make acorn flour.
