These Transit Connect transmissions have been completely disassembled and reassembled with upgraded parts to provide longevity. Ford Transit Connect Transmissions are prone to premature failure mostly due to their torque converters and subsequently taking out the pump. The pumps do not provide adequate pressure under low RPM conditions. These remanufactured Transit Connect transmissions have an updated pump to remedy this problem.

Since 2019, Edge transmissions have been plagued with numerous problems.

Some symptoms include:

  • Vibrations at around 45 mph
  • Code P0741 and/or P1744 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Malfunction
  • No Forward or reverse
  • Overheating and going into failsafe after a long drive
  • Pump Whine
