Fantastic Natural Pyrite Cube from Spain

Originally collected from Navajun, La Rioja, Spain.

Overall size is 33mm x 33mm x 32mm (54mm tip to tip), 175.9 grams.

Pyrite is Iron Sulfide, FeS2. Hardness is 6 - 6.5. Pyrite is a polymorph of marcasite, which means that it has the same chemistry, FeS2, as marcasite; but a different structure and therefore different symmetry and crystal shapes.
