This one-of-a-kind Kimberlite Blue Bridesmaid Doll was hand painted by Fenton artist Kim Barley. She has a soft blue satin finish and is painted with floral accents in shades of blush, white, and green. The front design includes a bluebird perched among blossoms along the hem. A small white bouquet is held at her waist and Kim has added subtle shading to define the folds of the gown. The “Bridesmaid” Doll figurine was introduced into the Fenton Art Glass product line in the early 1990s. Since that time it has become a favorite among collectors. This piece was made for us by our friends at Mosser Glass using the original Fenton mould. This original Fenton piece is signed “Kim Barley 2026 OOAK”. All hand painted pieces are fired to ensure a durable, permanent finish designed for lasting beauty.

About Fenton Art Glass

Founded in 1905 by brothers Frank L. and John W. Fenton, the Fenton Art Glass Company ranks among the world's foremost producers of handmade art glass. Fenton is the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the United States, and the company is renowned for innovative glass colors as well as hand-painted decorations on pressed and blown glassware.

For more than a century, Fenton has developed new colors and patterns, including items enhanced with hand-painted floral decorations and 22k gold accents. Fenton glass appeals to all types of customers, and, over the years, this appeal has led to the company's great success. In fact, no two Fenton pieces are exactly the same!

In 2005, the Fenton Art Glass Company proudly celebrated its 100th anniversary, marking a century of American glassmaking tradition. However, traditional glass production at the original factory in Williamstown, West Virginia, came to an end in July 2011. Today, the Fenton Gift Shop continues to honor that legacy at its new location in Boaz, West Virginia, just a few miles from the historic factory site.
