ANTIQUE FINE SILVER PERSIAN BOX Islamic Middle Eastern engraved cigarette case

A very beautiful fine silver Middle Eastern box which has been skilfully engraved with attention to detail.  The scene on the lid depicts three mail full length figure looking to be a female in the middle and two males either side.  There are also four half length figures one in each corner of inner cartouche possibly two males and two females.  The sides are fully engraved with birds amongst flowers and foliage.  The base has an engraved patterned boarder.

I believe the original use of the box may have been for storing small vintage cigarettes?

Condition:-  very good condition, its precisely made and the lid and base are a good fit.  I cannot see a hallmark but it tests for high grade solid silver.

Size:-  the external dimensions are 72mm by 50mm by 14mm

Weight:-  62.5g
