Vintage exceptionally beautiful 1930 Royal typewriter model 10 with clear double beveled side glass windows in very good condition on each side, made by Royal Typewriter Co. , serial number 14 1440287. Very nice typewriter and in beautiful cosmetic and working condition. The serial number dates this typewriter in the 1930 era or 95+ years old. It has a very nice double black finish. The body is black luster enamel and the ribbon covers, front panel and paper rest are black textured finish. Very unique with minimal signs of wear. Very Nice black and green patina keyboard with nickel trim. Graphics are in good condition. The typewriter has an extended 14” carriage. The typewriter types well, very responsive and sharp as you can see from the examples. Pica. Keys strike and return and carriage advances as it should as you type. The original platen and feet, paper feed, backspace, new ribbon, original spools, ribbon feed, margin release, bell, tab, shift lock are all good. All four Top plates, bottom plate, carriage, keys, have been removed and/or cleaned. Cleaned and serviced. I will remove the platen knobs for shipping to keep them safe due to the size of the carriage. Please no PO Box. The pictures are good to view for overall condition.
