Information on the waste oil regulations

We take back the amount of combustion engine or transmission oil purchased from us as used oil free of charge for the purpose of proper disposal.
The return also extends to oil filters and oil-containing waste that occurs regularly when changing the oil.
The return location is the address listed in the legal notice.
You can use the used oil or Please personally hand over oil filters and any oily waste that occurs during oil changes to us.
Alternatively, you can choose to have the item shipped by post if you cover the shipping costs.
Please make sure to label used oil as dangerous goods when shipping it and to use appropriate containers.

Information about the battery deposit

The used battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries.
The batteries can be returned free of charge after use in the retail store.

Notes on battery disposal

You can return old batteries that we have or have had in our range as new batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address).

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

The symbol of the crossed out garbage can means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by mass
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass.

The deposit is not included in the purchase price and is shown on the item next to the final price.

If you return a used vehicle battery to us that we have or have had in our range as a new battery in accordance with Section 9 BattG, we are obliged, within the framework of the legal regulations, to take it back free of charge and to refund the deposit amount.
Insofar as we comply with Section 10 Para. 1 Sentence 3 BattG have issued a deposit stamp, the reimbursement of the deposit when the used vehicle battery is returned depends on the return of the deposit stamp.

Returning the used battery by post is not permitted due to the Dangerous Goods Ordinance.

Alternatively, used vehicle batteries can also be handed in free of charge to recycling centers.
The deposit we charge will not be refunded by the public recycling centers.
However, you have the option of having the return of the used vehicle battery acknowledged on the deposit stamp.
You will receive the battery deposit back from us upon presentation of the receipted deposit stamp.
