For those of you unfamiliar, these are small pillows that you rest a Japanese sword on while not directly handling or holding it. A Japanese sword's polish may be damaged by laying it on a hard or abrasive surface, so to prevent that, use a pillow like this!

These are my take on makura since I wanted a sword pillow that came in some different color options than what I am used to seeing, was sturdy enough to support multiple heavy blades, and able to be washed and reused with ease. These pillows are able to be hand-washed and reused if they ever take on too much soiling.

They are machine and hand-stitched seams and with hand cinching, and a sturdy fill inside that can be filled in such a way that allows for varying degrees of firmness/softness. The material is satin, which I've found I prefer over the usual silk brocade.

They are approximately 2" round by 8" long and can support up to 2 to 3 katana blades with careful placement and handling.

As they are now, they come in 8 different colors: red, gold, purple, royal blue, navy, olive, forest green, emerald green.
