This is Ansonia’s rare “Olympia and Chloris” statue clock. The clock is very attractive and cosmetically pleasing. As with all of this style Ansonia clock, the statue and base are separable. The base of this clock is nice with an original finish that is acceptable. The statue has some issues. Olympia should be holding a a wand but it is missing with two of her finger tips. There is also a repair to one of her wings at the attachment point that I don’t not believe will survive shipping. Mechanically the clock was wound and ticked for a few minutes, then stopped it started again when the clock was moved. When the hands were cycled it chimed. This is the extent of the testing. It should be considered as found with no service records and untested. It’s a really great piece and priced to sell so don’t miss it!
