Tapes are mold-free, and have been tested for playability. Tapes may not have not been watched in their entirety; there may be noise, snow, jitter, wrinkles in the tape, audio issues, etc.

VHS lots are sold as-is with no guarantee of performance. VHS tapes are old and wear out over time and some amount of degradation is expected from any tape.
