Vintage large square scarf by Ray Strauss, who designed scarves between the 1950's through the 1970's.  Known for bold, colorful designs, his brand, Ray Strauss Unlimited, was well-established by the 1960's, and was used as a trademark on his scarves beginning by the 1960's.  As indicated by the label on this scarf, it is made of 75% cotton and 25% modal.  This is a beautifully designed scarf, and large enough to be used in many ways and for many purposes.
