This is a vintage Steiff Collie/German Shepard dog plush toy.  Toys like this were made in Germany around the 1950s and 1960s.  It is made from mohair plush fur with a wool stuffing.  This doggy has a realistic appearance with a curvy shape and is made of coarse reddish-brown and black long-haired mohair.  It features airbrushed paint details and glass eyes.  It has an open mouth with a red felt tongue and embroidered nose and claws.  It is about 12" long by about 5" wide and 6" tall.
