This is a nice piece of history minted between 4 BC and 6 AD. This is a genuine prutah of Herod Archelaus, son of Herod the Great, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see in the high resolution photographs.  This piece was struck under the authority of the same Herod Archelaus, mentioned in the Bible in Matthew 22:2.  The Judaean coins of this era were often stuck on slightly irregular shaped flans and were struck by hand.  For reference of size, a U.S. dime is about 18mm across.  There is debate on which coin the historical "widow's mite" is.  This coin is part of the family of coins it would have been. Grading of coins is subjective. In my opinion, this coin is CH VF.  This piece shows so much more detail than most specimens and has better centering than most. It is a special piece.
