The K5WZ "G5RV" is a multi-band ladder line fed dipole
inspired by the popular and widely used G5RV, designed by Louis Varney (G5RV) in 1946.
It can be erected as a horizontal dipole, a sloper, or an inverted-V antenna.
With a trans-match, it can operate on the following HF amateur radio bands:
80m, 40m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, with some variations dependent upon installation methods.
The two center fed elements are 51 ft. each, for a total of 102 ft. and the ladder line is 30.3 ft.
Coax (not included) is required.
A balun is not recommended, although a feedline current choke or "ugly balun"
is recommended in-between the ladder line and coax connection.
Power limitation is 2000 watts.
Built to endure the harshest of environments.
