Vintage Gruen Precision Autowind automatic wristwatch from the late 1950s to early 1960s. 

Gruen was a respected American watch company known for quality mechanical watches. 

This piece features the desirable crosshair dial and arrowhead hour markers, classic styling 

from the mid-century era.

The watch contains a Gruen Caliber 490 automatic movement (17 jewels) which was one of 

Gruen’s early self-winding movements. The movement is visible in the photos and appears complete.

This is a great vintage watch restoration project, parts watch, or collectible mid-century Gruen piece.
