VINTAGE Cowboy Boots from Lucchese!!
I've attached a picture of an email I received directly from Lucchese customer service that states these boots are made of lizard and goat. I've also included a picture of the results of a search I did on Lucchese's website using the model number stamped in the boot [633 IPB] that matches it to their current model KIP boot.
Lucchese is calling the color of these boots peanut brittle.
Based on several hours of research, these boots appear to have been made on May 7th, 1980. You will notice the Lucchese brand which denotes 'San Antonio' which confirms they were made sometime before 1986 when Lucchese moved from San Antonio to El Paso. It's interesting that Lucchese customer service wouldn't provide the production date (see pic of email).
These boots are in excellent condition and barely worn. The stitching is gorgeous and they've always had a shoe tree in each boot to maintain the toe structure. There is some very minor wear marks as shown in the pictures.
Note: shoe trees are not included.
Note: for reference, the brand is pronounced 'Lew-Kay-zee"
