This is a rare, highly sought-after, mid 1990s Nashville Era, solid maple shell snare drum with a Cherry Sunburst Lacquer finish. This was the Pat Foley/Sam Bacco era, when the drums were made with premium maple shells, Pat Foley was responsible for the finishes, and Sam Bacco was responsible for drum building/shell production. The original batter head was replaced by a Remo Fiberskyn 3 head for brush playing. The original head will be included in the box. The original snare wires were replaced by Grover 14CB 14” Club Bright Snare Wires, and the Throw-Off replaced with a Slingerland Rapid Throw-Off (the original Throw-Off is included in the box).
This is a fantastic snare drum.
This kit has only ever been played in my home. It has never been out to a gig and is in like new condition.
