Installation Tutorial

1.Open the engine compartment cover. 2.Remove the case cover.

3.You can see the ignition coils. 4.Remove the high voltage branch line,make the mark of each cylinder.

5.It is recommended that your car has a few cylinders, just replace a few ignition coils.
How do you determine the model of your car engine?
1.In the engine compartment of your car or on the side of the driver's For Seat, the factory nameplate is attached. The engine nameplate is marked on the factory nameplate, which is the correct way to match the ignition coil.
2.When purchasing the ignition coil, please check the displacement, year and engine model of your car, and make sure that it matches the compatibility table before you can purchase it.
Product Knowledge
- Functional principle of the ignition coil
The ignition coil converts the low-voltage direct current of the battery into a high-voltage electric power, and generates a spark through the discharge of the spark plug, and the mixed gas in the gas cylinder is charged, the primary charging is performed when the grounding path of the primary winding is turned on. Once the controller cuts off the primary winding circuit, charging is aborted. At the same time, high voltage is induced in the winding of this stage, which causes the spark plug to discharge.
- The cause of damage to the ignition coil
High voltage line breakdown;
Breakdown and creepage between high and low voltage coils;
Creepage between the high voltage coils and the iron core;
Poor potting, resulting in the encapsulation (epoxy resin) cracking phenomenon after long-term work, resulting in internal coil creepage.
- How long is it reasonable to replace the coil?
We recommend replacing the ignition coil once in 60,000 kilometers.
During driving, it is found that the engine is vomiting, shaking, accelerating weakness or the engine fault light is on. It is recommended to check the spark plug and the ignition coil. The ignition coil can be serviced regularly to prevent the ignition coil from being heated or damp. Do not turn on the ignition switch when the engine is not running. Always check, clean, and tighten the line connectors to avoid short circuits or grounding. Control the engine performance to prevent the voltage from being too high, and the spark plug must not be "suspended" for a long time.
