This is a rare, original, colored copper engraving view of the castle Skok Monastery from Erik Jonsson Dahlberg from 1693.

English description:
This rare and very decorative view shows the castle of Skokloster with its gardens. The view is further enriched by numerous people and ships as well as a coat of arms. This genuine copper engraving was published in Erik Jönsson Dahlberg's (1625 - 1703) monumental work "Suecia Antiqua et Hodierna" in 1693. The engraving measures 24 x 58 cm (combined platesize, printed from two plates and joined) and is in good to fair condition, showing some browning of the paper by age, mostly in the left third of the sheet. This is invisible when framed under a passepartout.
