For sale is our Vauxhall Meriva 1.4 SE Petrol 5 door in black. We have had it since September 2024. Last serviced in August 2025 where it had oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter. In November 2025 it had a new battery and two front tyres. Its had a pollen filter and a rocker cover too, but those receipts are in the car and the car is in Chesterfield at my parents place I'm in Sheffield). The reason its there is the gearbox failed on the way there and I had to leave it there. Its done 113874 miles and this won't rise due to the aforementioned gearbox failure. It still drives and selects gears but is making an awful noise when driven, because we think the gearbox has failed. Bodywork is fair, its got  a selection of scars, scratches and dents, interior wise it needs a good clean but its in fairly decent condition. MOT'd until 22/09/26. It has a panoramic roof and the aircon blows nice and cold.

So, we've established the car is in Chesterfield, and its also got a gearbox problem, so please don't message me asking where it is and whats wrong with it. The price is the price, any stupid offers or asking what my best price is will be ignored. Sorry, but i'm not suffering fools. Its a used car, it needs some love and attention.

The car is sold as seen, its currently not insured so test drives will have to be short ones on the drive, but its long enough to get an idea of the gearbox's painful noises. I'm saying its the gearbox, it might be a clutch issue, but i've not had it to bits to find out.
