Vintage/Antique RARE/HARD TO FIND/ONE OF A KIND! ARCHERY RECURVE BOW/RIGHT HAND/STEEL LIMBS/ALUMINUM HANDLE RISER COMBINATION, THIS IS A UNIQUE QUALITY CRAFTED RECURVE BOW. LIMBS ARE PROBABLY TEMPERED STEEL (NOT ROUND) 3/8" FLAT TOP & BOTTOMS/ SIDE THICKNESS OF 5/16". NOT A STRING! IT'S A FINE CABLE PRECISION CRIMPED AT THE TIPS. IT APPEARS THAT A BRASS KNURLED RETAINS THE CABLE AND CAN BE ADJUSTED FOR TENSION. THE HANDLE/RISER ALSO SERVES AS HE ARROW REST AND BUILT IN SIGHT WINDOW. LOOK CLOSE. THERE IS A SMALL RED WEDGE FOR A REFERENCE ON SIGHTING. INDIAN CHIEF IMAGE ON TOP PORTION OF RISER. WHOMEVER MADE THIS WAS MORE THAN A BOWYER: HE WAS A MACHINIST, ENGINEER, & BOWYER ALL ROLLED INTO ONE, I'VE HAD IT 30 PLUS YEARS AND COLLECTED ARCHERY ALL MY LIFE AND HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER ONE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO MADE IT. I HAVE SHOT THIS BOW IN THE PAST, I WILL SHIP THE BOW AS PICTURED. I'M NOT ATTEMPTING TO RELEASE THE CABLE TENSION. MEASURES ABOUT 55-3/8" X 7" X 2".
