The Sony PlayStation 3 Black Fat CECH-L01 is a home console that offers a sleek black design with a height of 4 inches. Despite the issues with the disc drive and motherboard, this Sony PlayStation 3 model provides a high-quality gaming experience for users in the NTSC-U/C region. I have the new disc drive with new motherboard. From all my testing done which was considerable I concluded the disc motherboard has failed. In order to fix this the console needs custom firmware installed to "Marry" the disc drive daughter board to the motherboard. Also this console has been all apart thermal paste redone and a very thorough cleaning. This should be a real easy project for somone that knows what they are doing. My loss YOUR gain. I cannot guarantee this console is repairable buy at your own risk assuming the responsibility.
