By the looks of this mid-50s animated moving flag friction fire engine by Nomura, it has never been played with.

That said, there are 3 small blemishes that I can see, and I have zeroed in on them in the photos. 

This magnificent toy appears to have spent its life in its original box.

Look at the 2nd photo video to see the action. When pushed, the friction motor is clean and strong and the fireman waves the flag as the bell rings loud and clear.

Comes with its original box that is also in outstanding condition… as if it was purchased back in 1957 and forgotten on a shelf.
