​Subject: A charming, hand-colored etching of the Place du Tertre in Montmartre, Paris. The scene includes the historic Maison Catherine (founded in 1793) and the domes of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur.

​Medium: Original hand-colored etching on paper.

​Signature: Pencil signed by the artist in the lower-right margin ("Thys"). Titled "Place du Tertre" in the lower-left margin.
