This artwork, titled "Waiting", was created with prismacolor pencils and mixed media on bristol board, and measures 12x16". The portrait is done in colored pencil, the clothing in ink, the background in watercolor, the background trees are stitched with embroidery thread as are the tears, and the trees in the foreground are wire wrapped in yarn. The moths are sculpted out of fabric and wire, and vintage buttons are affixed to the front of her blouse. There are so many interesting 3-dimensional elements to this unique work of art.
