Leica M2 35mm rangefinder silver film camera body in very good cosmetic condition, showing just some minor use marks and a few light scratches. (see photos!) There are no visible dings or dents anywhere, only the vulcanite is missing in a few places and engraving on the back. The camera however does not work properly, the shutter fires correctly (to the ear) at all settings, however when the advance lever is moved too quickly, the shutter activates at the end of the lever's travel without pressing the release button. But when it is pulled very gently, untill a "click" is heard, just before the end of travel, then the release button works normally. The viewfinder and rangefider is clear. Made in Germany. This vintage camera comes with rapid loading system and a generic body cap.
