Particolarissimo Longines Calatrava, con doppia firma sul quadrante in altro Longines e sotto TURLER famosa e storica orologeria e gioielleria di Zurigo, inoltre questo orologio ha un’altra particolarità a il fondello inciso che racconta la storia di questo Orologio e del suo proprietario, nell’incisione c’è scritto che è un regalo per i 25 anni si servizio svolti nella fabbrica di Oerlikon, fabbrica che dai primi 900 fino a fine della seconda guerra mondiale ha prodotto armi e armamenti per tutta l’Europa, Famosissimi i cannoni antiaerei Oerlikon da 20 mm, sviluppati negli anni ’30 e impiegati su larga scala durante la Seconda guerra mondiale da molte marine militari (soprattutto dagli Alleati). Fabbrica ancora oggi attiva produce sempre attrezzatura per la difesa.

Incisione scritta in tedesco, perché la lingua che si parla nel cantone di Zurigo.

A very special Longines Calatrava, with a double signature on the dial: Longines, above, and TURLER, a famous and historic watchmaker and jeweler from Zurich. This watch also has another special feature: the engraved case back that tells the story of this watch and its owner. The engraving states that it is a gift for 25 years of service at the Oerlikon factory, a factory that from the early 1900s until the end of World War II produced weapons and armaments for all of Europe. The Oerlikon 20 mm anti-aircraft guns, developed in the 1930s and used on a large scale during World War II by many navies (especially the Allies), are very famous. The factory is still active today and continues to produce defense equipment.

The engraving is in German, because it is the language spoken in the canton of Zurich.
