In original black wood edged frame.

Frame measures 32cm x 27cm by photo measures 20 1/2cm x 15 1/2cm.

Looks like the original frame but had a newish wire put on the back and newish tape around the edges of the back.

Frame has general wear but photo and mount both in good un-damaged condition and the glass is intact.

The photographer was Shetland born John David Rattar (J.D Rattar) born Northmaven, Shetland 1876 and died Lerwick, Shetland 1957, aged 81. He was a very well known Shetland photographer who took photos of landscapes, birds/wildlife, portraits etc. His work is highly regarded and sought after. A lot of his photos were produced in postcard form.
