Original Allied Military Government – Free Territory of Trieste (AMG-FTT) registered First Day Cover, mailed from Trieste during the post-war transitional period.
Franked with A.M.G.-F.T.T. overprinted Italian stamps, including the 20 Lire XIII Fiera del Levante – Bari 1949 commemorative and a 5 Lire definitive. Both stamps are clearly tied by Trieste circular date cancels.
Features original Registered “R – TRIESTE CENTRO 5283” label, First Day Cover cachet depicting Trieste architecture, and rear postal backstamp confirming authentic postal handling.
A scarce and historically significant piece of AMG-FTT postal history, combining registered service, First Day usage, and desirable Trieste origin.
