Since this part is no longer available, and is a frequently missing on many w123 chassis Mercedes, the seller---an experienced classic Mercedes mechanic--- has re-engineered and improved upon a common item missing from many w123 chassis vehicles.  The seller has improved the original design by making it less prone to breaking and also adding two small indentations on the sides to allow for easier removal.
