Ideal for Small Ponds and Water Features

 The smallest living horsetail, this unusual plant is actually an aquatic fern. It is an evergreen perennial, with slender, black-barred stems that remain on the plant all year round. It has much smaller and more delicate foliage than the other horsetails, and is also clump-forming and non invasive - it requires no real maintenance other than thinning out dead stems in spring. This makes it useful for winter interest in a small pond, barrel, or tub garden, especially in shady areas.

You can reduce the depths of your margins by sitting the planting baskets on concrete blocks or similar.

You will receive a young plant around  7 - 10cm 3" - 4" high, with some leaves and  will be sent in it's rooted form to save on postal costs. It will require potting on receipt.
