Description

This Nagel Pupille is a remarkable example of early-1930s German precision engineering, representing the peak of Nagel’s craftsmanship before the company became part of Kodak.
It features the highly sought-after Leitz Elmar 50mm f/3.5, celebrated for its clean rendering, sharp central resolution, and classic vintage character.
Unlike most 127-film cameras of the era, the Pupille was designed as a high-grade compact model with a metal body, refined mechanics, and excellent build quality.
Its historical significance as a direct predecessor to the Kodak Retina series makes it a consistently desirable collector’s piece.
This unit has been tested and is fully working, ensuring reliable operation for display or shooting.
