Listed is an extremely rare(30/500), complete* San Diego Comic-Con 2009 Limited Edition of the “Futurama: The Complete Collection 1999-2009” Bender Head DVD set. Prior to SDCC 2009, a pre-order was opened up on foxstore and then you, or someone you knew, had to pick it up in person. They were split into daily batches of 125, but the only number guarantee was that you would get a number 1-125 day 1, 126-250 day 2, etc.

Included are the hand numbered Bender Head(with removable antenna), 19 DVD’s, hand numbered letter from Matt Groening and David X. Cohen and episode guide in a numbered(printed) envelope, the original box, and a pair of Futurama art postcards.

Comes from a smoke free home. There is some fading from the years visible and all discs appear in great to excellent condition with the exception of Disc 1, but I was able to play it on two different players. If you purchase and run into any issues, let me know.

This edition was limited to 500 hand numbered(Bender Head and Letter) AE’s vs the regular retail edition of 25,500 which featured a printed number only on the letter.

The printed numbers on this edition are the numbers on the envelope and outside of the box, neither of which are featured on the regular edition. Other signifiers include the different antenna sticker, the bottom of the letter states “COMIC-CON 2009 LIMITED EDITION”, and the UPC is 0024543617655 vs 0024543617631.

*I asterisk “complete” because the press release mentions a poster and I have no memory of that being a thing. I checked with a friend who went with me, searched my flat file and tubes, and tried searching Google, forums, the Futurama wiki, Slurmed, and more to no avail. The closest thing I found are the postcards in the final image that I am including.
