This is an Antique, German Mechanical Valentine's Day card, from the early 20th century. 

Featuring die-cut illustrations of a Postboy Delivering a Valentine while blowing his Whistle. 

This is a Mechanical card, it has moving parts. His arm and eyes move as he pulls his whistle to his mouth and the heart on the card appears!

The text on the card reads: "When the postman brings you this little card; Pray take it as a sign, That my heart is true, and I am whistling for you to be my Valentine"

The card is marked Printed in GERMANY

Measures approx.  6 inches by 4 inches.
