This is a vintage banjo mandolin by Deep South made in Britain probably in the early 1930’s.
It is in excellent condition and plays well.
In fact it’s amazing that there are no scratches or dents after almost 100 years.
It has a solid mahog body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. There is binding around the edges.
The chrome hardware is also in good shape.
The metal plates on the headstock behind the tuning machine heads is nicely engraved.
A pick up is attached to amplify your sound. Easily removable if you don’t want it.
Comes with the shaped hard case pictured.
