A beautiful vintage Amethyst coloured Glass Pitcher / Jug / Carafe with two glasses. Although the pieces are unmarked the Carafe / Pitcher / Jug and glasses are believed to be designed by Wszwwlod Sarmecki and made at the Krosno Glassworks in Poland between 1980 and 1989. The Carafe / Pitcher / Jug is 28cm (11“) tall with a diameter of 9.5cm (3.7“) at the widest point and 16.4cm (6.5“) wide from handle to spout. The Amethyst glass Carafe / Pitcher / Jug has a clear glass handle. The Carafe / Pitcher / Jug comes with two matching very elegant amethyst coloured glasses. These are 14cm (5.5“) tall with a diameter of 6.1cm (2.4“) at the widest point. The two glasses are both in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The Carafe / Pitcher /Jug is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks apart from some small marks near the spout (please see the last photograph) and some minor surface scratches on the base. These do not detract from this being a very elegant and beautifully designed set.
