Handsome vintage Asian themed marquetry wall art piece. This has a primitive quality yet skillfully done marquetry (artful inlay) on a solid piece of wood. I could see this on a gallery wall with other eclectic natural objects and artwork.
There is surface wear in the form of scratching and scuffing. It has a coat of some sort of glaze or varnish that's very reflective so it was hard to accurately capture what the piece looks like. The scratches look more noticeable under studio lights than in person under natural light. There is writing on the back that might be left by the artist. Please see pictures for condition detail.
