This is an enclosure set for the CDT Unity Wideband series These enclosures come with ball joint mounts that allow you to configure the angle a bit more to your liking! Additionally, these come with mounts that can be used optionally to make the install more catered towards your mounting configuration. It is truly a versatile, modular, product!

This is a 3D printed carbon fiber composite filament made part with metal mounting surfaces and lock rings to ensure a tight, vibration resistant mount. These are Heat treated and annealed to withstand hot temperatures in vehicles. Ample mounting space enough for the wiring behind the speaker as well as internal volume to have these play down to the crossover point just fine like the manual states. . This is not a run of the mill generic 3D printed part. I treat 3D printing as the manufacturing method but the real art comes from the heavy engineering principles (I am a mechanical engineer) that went into making this product work as intended. (In my personal car for 2 years now) . One substantial benefit my 3D printed enclosure has over a metal enclosure is the ability to dissipate standing waves behind the speaker. It is a well damped enclosure that does not rattle. This is crucial for a wide band driver as it provides the best control and least interference as possible. Per my manufacturer of filament, they state the filament is not conductive which is another plus for this product. . In my personal testing I have found these able to work in temperatures of 102 Degrees F+, however, I will not be responsible for misuse or warpage and is being marketed as a prototype aid for figuring out position of the widebands to make your final mounts in resin or custom A pillar mounts. Again, I personally use these on a daily basis but I will not be refunding for misuse. Rest assured, these have been tolerance and abuse tested in hot conditions and they work fantastically. The enclosure itself is exceptionally strong and has been load impulse tested with 40lb from a 1 foot drop and it passes with no damage. Please keep in mind that with a 3d printed component, minor cosmetic manufacturing defects will be there but that is the nature of 3D printing. I have made sure you receive nothing but the best of my ability and manufacturing methods to provide a product with as minimal cosmetic defects as possible. These look fantastic in cars and blend with most interiors. . Made in the USA with USA made filament! . As a mechanical engineer and audiophile I strive to give you all a great working product that has been tested in the real world. These widebands sound amazing in these enclosures and they reach their crossover frequency as intended with no issues.
