Here's another great lot of early ephemera together and in context. This lot features a nice snapshot of early radio technology. In response to an apparent inquiry the JEWELL ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT CO. replied with an envelope of information, brochures and booklets. This package includes:
• A letterhead acknowledging the request.
• A 2-page, black & white, illustrated, folding brochure of instruments and gauges.
• A 2-page, 2-color, Illustrated, folding brochure of diagnostic radio repair instruments.
• A 29 page mini catalog of analyzers, test sets, gauges etc. (3 1/2” x 6 1/4”).
• A 33 page radio service booklet with data charts for various popular models and explanations of the most pertinent service protocols and procedures.
Aside from the envelope they came in, the contents of this nice lot are in GREAT CONDITION. They are clean and vivid with only some light bends and wrinkles, perhaps some very light soiling or toning here and there. All Very Minor and mentioned to be thorough. The mailing envelope however, is somewhat rough, prominently with a torn-off end (from when it was opened), among other points of common wear.
A great lot for collection, research, display or academia.
