2. Once attached, modern 0.75mm-pitch filters replace the original screw-in hood/cap. Snap-on/push-on hoods and caps remain fully compatible.
3. For the Nikkor-Q.C 13.5cm f/3.5 (outer diameter ~44.6mm), the original hood cannot be stored reversed on the lens + adapter + modern filter due to slight size difference.
