A rare and early example of John Barbirolli conducting the Hallé orchestra in a concert which featured Artur Schnabel as the soloist in concertos by Mozart and Beethoven. It also includes Elgar's Introduction and Allegro, due in time to become one of Barbirolli's 'calling cards'.
I'm also selling other old Hallé programmes from this era with Barbirolli and Hamilton Harty conducting and am happy to combine for a package price.
