1 piece - 7” x 11" x .03” (178 mm x 280 mm x 0.75mm) medium sized sheet of thin translucent celluloid tortoise shell for guitar pickguards.
This is a very hard to find high-quality .03” thick (Gibson spec) 100% real translucent celluloid with the classic vintage red tortoise shell pattern seen on so many pre-1970 acoustic and electric guitars. Each sheet is enough material for two large pickguards like a Gibson J-50 or four small pickguards similar to a Martin D-18 or OM, or a Gibson J-45 or L-00.
Second picture shown is a scan of a sample 7” x 11” sheet. Tortoise shell pattern will vary from piece to piece.
Luthier quality material.Note: Both sides come with protective film so finish will be glossy. without requiring additional sanding or polishing..

Customer Feedback: Exactly as described! Nice and thick, like the vintage Gibson, Harmony, etc. I made 2 pickguards for old Harmonys; one large 'bat-wing', and one standard sized one for an H1260. Plenty of material left for a headstock overlay, or truss-rod covers.
